I have had my Predator since Christmas and I have had this happen to me twice, the first time i called Acer support and they suggested to make a clean reinstall of windows 10 and it worked. Now, a few weeks later from clean installing windows, my laptop shut down and would come back on with just the keyboard back light, the screen would flicker, then shut down, and repeat this process non-stop until I would hard shut down with the power button. I waited over night hoping that it would work in the morning. Sure enough it did, but it opened on a recovery page(the error was 0xc0000221). I let it sit until it restarted on it's own and I was greeted at the login screen, every just worked like normal, like nothing even happened. But don't want this happening again so is there any drivers that I can install to prevent this from happening?

This is a good suggestion. Also try tigtening the screws on the base panel cover of the laptop. There is a safety switch inside the laptop that will randomly shut the machine off if the covers are not properly tightened or misaligned. Jack E/NJ
