Other Known Issues with the Predator series

Hello everyone so i was gonna upgrade my laptop a Predator 300 Helios and i discovered after a year that there i a problem with the model of motherboard which seems to effect a lot of the laptops with the same motherboard and i was wondering before i upgrade the laptop because i enjoyed the laptop greatly i would like another predator but would like to know your thoughts if there are any issues with any of the other predators so i do not encounter the problem again.

  • Did the Acer service center tell you what the exact problem was with your previous motherboard?

    I sent it off to PC world not acer centre I was going to but the guy on the phone didnt ask me for any details really he just went straight for my card details which made me suspicious and overall not trusting of the service.

    @HELIOShelp the new h300 2019 are beasts you should be just fine of course there will be always some lemons it happens on any mass production industry and regarding your issues u should had contacted acer directly and send it to them not pc world most times resellers only want your money and that's it

    aye PC found the problem they refunded me the 60 because they couldn't fix it but this time i had a guy from acer after my money didnt even attempt to get any details just wanted my C card information. There support system wasn't great either every time i open a ticket i would say resolved when nothing happened no contact or anything. but yea il send it to PC world as i do trust them they haven't given me a bad service before.
