Hi, my laptop's main problem is overheating. Both CPU and GPU hits 95 degrees in any after 2010 game. I followed instructions of Hotel Hero in youtube. My CPU is not going any further than 75 degrees but my GPU still is same. I figured out that my GPU's clock speed doesn't get over 1200-1300 mhz, it's usually around 1000. I think this is the main reason of overheat. I need your help :(

Mutlugazoz if your gpu still hitting over 80 and the cpu 85 max as yours its fine (which thats the max gpu temp just before thermal throttling) shouldnt go above 70/75 that means you have to get it repasted with kryonaut or similar and clean the fans and exit airflow properly if you can yourself without voiding your warranty if you cant you have to send it to acer to get it repasted

    <<<my GPU's clock speed doesn't get over 1200-1300 mhz, it's usually around 1000>>>

Thats completely normal its thermal throttling its downclocking to the stock speed to try to cool down the cpu thermal throttles over 90'ish (apart from everyone officially saying its 95 its not really true its the silicone lottery and no cpu/gpu behaves the same way even if the exact same model) and the gpu over 80'ish

By the way please state your full model number in the next reply ( and do not breach the ACUA with posting personal information its not allowed please read before you post)

My model is G3-572-73PF and i didn't repaste kryonaut since i bought laptop. But the laptop had same heating problem when i first bought it. I managed to solve the issue with hotel hero's tutorials. After sometime i needed to update my GPU driver and problem occured again. I couldn't solve it again after that. I can try to repaste kryonaut but I don't think it's about thermal paste. My CPU is working fine but it's thermal paste is not repasted either.

Mutlugazoz you stated your gpu its heating up so yes its thermal paste issue if your still on stock thermal paste get it changed ASAP might be already rock solid dry and i wouldnt take the chance to seriously burn anything by not repasting it because a donor used mobo its always 600/700$ min and for ex kryonaut its just 10/20$

you should also consider things like nividia geforce experience this says it will optimise your laptop which it does rarely but most the times it just conflicts with other programs causing lag and over heating issues for the user.

@HELIOShelp never had any issues with GE and I don't use it to upgrade drivers that should be done manually and always using older ones for older gpus 3/6 months old newer ones are only optimized for the latest gpus 😉 I'm still on 416.94 since it came out never updated again not a single issue only had to upgrade from stock because of bf5 and black ops if not would still be on stock 😊 also games should be optimised in the game settings themselves GEits only a useful tool to stream for ex to my shield don't use it for anything else

Doesn't matter if you didnt have any issues I've seen it causing issues for people and once it's been uninstalled theres been no issues. One thing out of all my years with computers something can always conflict with something else process of elimination is always the way to go never eliminate anything unless ur certain
