I had a question about the predator laptop, I currently have one and have faced some unusual issues.  The computer seems to have some freezing issues. I have sent it in to get fixed due to this and it not turning on, after they sent it back it seemed to work fine but I just bumped into it and it immediately froze again forcing me to restart it.  I wasn't sure if this is a recurring issue for this system or not. Also if I have my phone lie on it, it will shut down as well no other device will do this but if it's my phone it will do this.

Dshizzle having the phone on top of it left bottom side i think will interfere with the closing lid display sensor i will shut down the display for sure so please do not use your phone on top of it you might even damage the sensor permanently regarding the freezes you said you sent it back did they repasted it clean installed it or what did they did if you know whatever they did to it so firstly you should start by checking your temps (if your thermal throttling you night freeze/crash) then try to roll back to older DGPU drivers (completely uninstall them first) you can also try a battery powerdrain followed by a bios setup defaults  and lastly if your recovery partition its still intact you could try a stock recovery clean install (backup whatever you need first) choose delete everything it will format it to the first day you booted it to rule out completely any software issues but of course if you windows upgraded version since then youre stuck in the recent as windows will rewrite the recovery to not allow to downgrade to older versions this is only possible using rufus with the version you want but you will loose the recovery unless you create a usb drive first via care center (this should be the first thing to do the first day its switched on out of the box) anyway hope you manage to fix it if its software should be fixable if its hardware for ex gpu only a mobo replacement under warranty

Thank you for the assistance, after they returned the laptop to me it appeared that they rebooted it to the first-day factory settings for I had to reinstall everything from square one.  I'm pretty sure the battery was the issue at first when I sent it in for it would flash on and off for a few seconds until it would shutdown itself. If it did turn on then it randomly froze. I will keep an eye on my temps if it starts to freeze up again and then look at the DGPU if I can't find an issue there. Finally, if all that doesn't work since I did send it in and they reset it to factory settings I may need to either send it in again for a diagnostic check and fix or something else.  If you have any other tips you think I should try I shall but thank you for everything.

Dshizzle well thats all i can think off just keep an eye on it and see if it freezes again and record what you were doing check any issues in the event viewer at that time if nothing works you would have to send it and explain what you already tried as it could well be a hardware issue
