I am wondering if someone of you does have already experiences with eGpu through mPcie slot in one of Swift's serie laptop. I have Nvidia GeForce MX150 inside which is actually not so bad, but it is far away from good gaming performance in case of the newest games like RDR2 etc on higher details. If i will have some luck, and if it will be worth it, i am about leading some type of ribbon cable from mPCie egpu cart into empty safety lock port on the side, ending with micro hdmi or micro usb female port to not must have lead the cable out of the body. I would like to 3d print then my own case for external graphic card and power supply. What i've seen physically inside, it actually could be possible. So if yes, please

How is the performance with some better eGpu? Is the fps performance much better then with dedicated nvidia?

Does playing on internal display straight reduces performance/fps?

Is it worth it?

Thanks :)

I don't think so. Cheaper, less trouble and better performance just to replace the Swift with a Predator series gaming machine. Jack E/NJ

You are right, after calculating and taking all the troubles with that in consideration (much lower performance through internal display etc) i think it will be better to buy small gaming desktop pc which has much more abilities for extensions in the future which is actually almost the same like to have egpu in case with power supply
