Dual Monitor Issue

I'm trying to hook up two monitors to my Aspire R5-571TG. I can only get one to work. I have one plugged into the HDMI port and that one is working. Since there is only one HDMI port on my laptop, the other one is plugged into a powered hub and into the USB-C port but it won't come on. I've plugged both directly into the HDMI port so I know they both work. The issue is getting the other one to work with a different port.

    Does your laptop support DisplayPort?

I just looked at another post and it seems that your laptop does not support DisplayPort, meaning that you cannot plug your monitor using your USB-C.

Great lol. Got any workaround on that? Looks like I'll have to get a new computer.

It looks like there are workarounds but i'm not sure if those work. Here is a post that is related to yours: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/548222/dp-alt-mode-on-aspire-r5-571tg
