Hey community, I've recently acquired an Acer Predator Helios 300 PH-315-52 and after installing the wireless network drivers from killer website (just the inf file) I'm experiencing issues with constant drops while other laptops / tablets / smartphones are not experiencing this. I've read a lot of issues and complaints with the killer hardware as well as software so I was trying to at least stay away from installing their killer control software, any ideas? Do I actually need that software? the drivers are correctly installed and device manager doesn't show any issues and the connectivity does work well on other spots...

The adapter is the AX1650 killer

    Hi,
Could you please tell us the driver version you have installed, if you don't have the driver from Acer support, go to their site and download version 2.0.2324.0, install it ad see whether it helps.

internet connection on my Predator Helios 300 PH-315-52 will drop usually about once per day for approx 15-30 minutes while the old piece of junk PC across the hallway farther away from the router has no issues... i'm curious to know if the updated driver worked for you, gjc

It didn't, actually this was a nightmare, the link provided is only the killer control center not the actual drivers, when pressing the "view all available downloads" option in the drivers support page I was able to download the actual wireless drivers but guess what? after installing them didn't actually recognize the network adapter so I needed to uninstall everything with the killer uninstaller software and downloaded the latest INF from the killer network official website and at least now I have internet, I've tested yesterday during around 5 hours and didn't get any drop, I'll try today again
