I've been using my Acer Aspire GX-785 for a year now. I do not know how this happened, but my power button its broken. I can still turn on my system, but I have to press the button hard for it to work. The last thing I did to my pc is that I pried the front cover off the DVD drive, and opened it manually when I accidentally put something inside. Is their a way to fix it, or find another way to turn on the computer?

Take the side cover off and look to see if the front bezel isn't seated all the way. If not there will be too big of a gap between the button and the switch.

I do not know what you mean by if the front bezel is seated all the way, but i do have some pictures

In the first picture, the piece that is bulging out is the dvd drive.

OK, I'm pretty sure the power cable is the white/blue/white/green one shown in the background of the second picture. That connects to the MB at #21 in this diagram:
If it's not seated fully or getting a bit corroded it could give those symptoms. If it's looking good then perhaps you can do an electrical test on it, use a circuit tester and make sure either the blue/white or green/white pairs gives contact with the button pushed and not when it's released. Let us know what you find.
