Hello,
I've been using my Acer Nitro 5 laptop for a while without any problems until around a couple of months ago. Out of no where, I began to start getting a lot of latency variation while playing games such as Rocket League and CSGO. It started to get so frustrating while playing that I went out and bought a powerline adapter to try to help it as I assumed it was an internet problem. Although it did make my internet faster and reduce overall ping in games a decent amount, I still receive the random latency variation and sudden freezes and disconnects in games for a few seconds. It only happens in online games. I've tried a few things like buying a powerline adapter as stated prior. I've also made sure to keep my NVIDIA drivers all up to date, as I have the most recent drivers you can currently get. It's really frustrating to try to play games with the random few second latency variations. I know it's not an internet problem because other computers and consoles work perfectly fine. It's just this computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs list: Intel Core i5 7300HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, 12GB DDR4, 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD. I haven't modified or added anything to this computer. This is how it came out of the box and how it is now.

Thanks in advance,

As I stated earlier, I've made sure to keep my NVIDIA drivers up to date. Also, I always play plugged in and I have made sure that the games are using my 1050 not Intel HD Graphics.
