My 2019 Acer Predator Helios' (PH315-52-78VL) screen is black (although the keyboard is lit) after turning it on this morning. This happened last night too but fixed itself when I plugged in the AC cord. Is there a solution?

DrewA thats weird have you tried a battery power drain (2019 h300 power button) hold/press for 30s+ after let it rest for a couple of hours 2/3 to completely drain all capacitors then boot into bios and reset to defaults and see if its fixed also check you battery wear % and is this happening with the full battery ?

*This is my first time using the Acer community forum (I think this is the forum) so I hope this comment is received as a reply to your potential solution*

Funnily enough, my laptop began working again once I tried to bring it to my university's computer repair shop and opened it up. It appears this issue occurs when my laptop sleeps/hibernates for prolonged periods of time and I try to turn the display back on. I'll be sure to try your suggestion when this happens again (as I'm sure it will because it happened twice while writing this comment) because you helped me find the ***** "battery power drain" button after me trying to find a small pinhole in my laptop for an entire 50min history class.

DrewA and yes sleep mode on windows 10 its bugged on many models of many manufacturers (its windows itself not the device) i would either try hibernate and disable fastboot or just shutdown as it doesnt take too much time to boot anyway, im always here to help in whatever i can an glad i could be helpful in finding the battery power kill switch (as i said on all 2019 H300 its the power button) dont forget to mark your issue as solved (only when solved) by accepting the answer(s) that helped to solve it for anyone else with similar issues to find it quickly :)
