    Hi!!

    @Sazmonkey

While restarting, does the laptop gives any error message? If so...please share the exact wordings of the error message. Also I would like to know, does the computer reboots even when you have charger plugged in.

No error code comes up it’s just shuts off, it happens when the charger is plugged in and when it’s running on the battery alone

Thank you for replying back!! As a workaround, I recommend you to perform "PC Refresh" in your computer.

    To refresh your PC

    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)
    2. Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Recovery.
    3. Under Refresh your PC without affecting your files, tap or click Get started.
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

@Balatekie my friend I think you copied and pasted instructions for an Acer Spin not a Nitro 5 =)
@Sazmonkey to Refresh Windows 10 please follow the instructions below but I do not think it is related to this but give it a try

    1. Press and hold the Power key for 5 seconds to power the system off completely.
    2. Turn on the computer and immediately press the Alt and F10 keys at the same time.
    3. You should see a message that says "Please Wait" and your computer will boot to a blue screen that says "Choose an option."
    4. Select Troubleshoot.
    5. Click Reset this PC.
    6. Pick recovery option: Keep my files
    7. Click Next and follow the instructions on the screen.

@andylb have just troubleshooted the laptop and it’s resetting, will use it for a little bit to see if it resets itself again or if the screen goes black

Did you use the method I outlined ? If it doesn't work there are few things we can try that may be more relevant to your problem

@andylb I did indeed try your step by step guid, the computer is still restarting. The restarting and black screening of the laptop normally happens when you are loading something like a game or a you tube video

Am going to send the product back, when you spend this amount of money you expect it to work properly

Really regret to know that the issue persists even after performing "PC Refresh". Yep..I agree with your point of spending money on a product and if that does not satisfy the needs :(
