So I’ve had this laptop for a few weeks now and I don’t do much on it. It’s brand new. I was checking my email and when I came in the room the laptop just turned off. Now it won’t turn back on. No indication of it trying to boot up or working in any way. Nothing lights up, it’s like it’s dead but I had the power adapter hooked up. Please help. The model # is N1812

Mattsly and JustynPerry perform a battery powerdrain if its a 2017/18 model follow the instructions if a 2019 use the power button instead as it doesnt have a battery pinhole press/hold for 30s+ leave it to rest 2/3h to complete discharge any power left in the capacitors and after see if it boots if so go to bios and reset setup to defaults if its still doesnt boot check the power adapter with a voltmeter just to make sure its sending the correct voltage if so the best next solution its to contact acer support and arrange to send it back to get it checked could be a faulty hardware issue
