6510 BD 3d setup

I tried to utilize the 3D function of the projector last night and am experiencing some issues.  I have (2) of the DLP link glasses and am trying to view some content through my AT&T U-Verse system via a new Onkyo 3d receiver.  I have set the Onkyo hdmi output up for both upconversion to 1080p and pass through and the picture is the same.  I am viewing the preview feature of different programs. The programs are somewhat in 3D but I can see the shuttering of the glasses opening and closing and the image is jerky.  It seems to be better if I move further away from the screen but still not that good. Some of the previews have a dual upper and lower screen.   I tried changing the inverse setting but it will not let me.  I am going to stop and buy a bluray 3d movie on the way home tonight and play this through my PS3 to see if this is any better.  I am using a 110" screen with the projector mounted about 9 feet from the screen.  I had to mount the projector a little higher than I would have liked due to a ceiling fan but I was able to adjust the keystone and obtain a good image.  Any suggestions on other things to try.

Thanks

Dan

I picked up the Juarissac Park 3d and it worked fine other than occasional flickering of the glasses.  I guess it is something to do with the uverse content.
