I need to replace screen on my laptop. Is NV156FHM-N42 compatible with it? On paper everything should work fine, but I`m not sure. Please help.

Dimensions and pin count look the same. Either one should probably work. Jack E/NJ

Here's your screen dimensions in mm 359.5 (H) x 223.8 (V) x 3.2 or 3.4 touch (D).  Probably the most critical dimension is the thickness should be 3.4 mm or less. The NV model is an IPS screen so colors may not be as vivid as a TN though viewing angles might be better if that's more important to you. Refresh rates might be slower. The table below is a list of compatible screens for this model. If you google the part number you can probably find vendors and prices that are comparable. Jack E/NJ

Unfortunately I couldn`t find any of these models in my country, but I look up to panelook.com and found these two models: http://www.panelook.com/LTN156HL01-101__15.6_LCM_overview_24053.html
    http://www.panelook.com/B156HAN01.1__15.6_LCM_overview_19048.html
What do you think about them?

    Hi,
I would suggest you to go for B156HAN01.1, it's a IPS panel and has good viewing angle.

LTN156HL01-101 it is a Samsung's PLS panel so it's basically the same as IPS

Yes, if you want it, by all means go ahead with it  :)
