Hi,
I have aspire a515-52-315q and the bios version is 1.16 ( it was 1.04 )
I set the password on the bios as it asked me to set a password.
And I know the password very well. I used to use the same password i.e 'asdfghjkl' to access the bios. But it became 5,6 month since I last open the bios.
Few days ago I updated the bios using the .exe file downloaded from this website (acer.com) . It completed successfully and everything was going fine.
Couple of days ago I tried to open the bios to change some settings but it said the password is wrong.

How can the password be wrong? I have never changed it and it is asdfghjkl but why cant i access the bios?

I removed the cmos battery and the bios was reset and every bios settings are now factory default (including f12 boot menu which is now disabled ) but it is still asking the password.
the generated password from bios-pw.org also don't work.
I also tried various software like cmospwd, (debug -o 70 2e,71 ff) and many other. but nothing works.

I am completely helpless now. the bios settings are default and I cant change them neither can boot any other OS(linux,USB etc).
please help me.

the right password is now wrong I don't know what happened.
If there is any way then please help me fix this frustrating situation.

if not then,
Is there any way how can I flash new bios and replace the current bios via USB drive?
the .exe file does not work as the bios is already latest.

Or is it he good idea to change the bios chip?
