Hello, I own Acer aspire 7 a715-72g-72z5 with intel i7 8750h processor. By default this notebook had only HDD, but recently I bought Intel 660p 512 SSD and replaced intel optane by this ssd drive. For few days I only used preinstalled windows on HDD and SSD as secondary drive. Here the temperatures were Ok (45-55 Celsius when idle or browsing) with gaming around 78-85. But recently I installed windows on SSD (dont know why but bootloader is on HDD) anyway after installation my CPU temperatures rise up into 55s - 70 when idle or browsing (CPU goes up to 3.8 GHZ and remains) and with gaming the temperatures are 85-97s which is really hot. When I replaced SSD I made sure that no ash was in cooling system and so on. So this problem is in software probably. Only way I can "fight" this problem is that in battery settings I set up power for processor on 90 percent and I think it prevent power boosting on my processor. But I find this way as hack and not a sollution to my problem. Thanks in advance for your support.
