Acer Swift 3 - What if warranty repair took so long

Hi, I have purchased Acer Swift 3 few months back and all of sudden it had issue with the touch pad where it get superhot and cant event touch it for one second. So I bring it to warranty center in USJ, Malaysia. They told me that they need to replace the main board of laptop. Its been 4 weeks since I sent the laptop to them. This really disturb my workflow since I purchased that laptop for my work. Is there anything I can do with this? They took more than a month to fix the issue and I can't do my work.

    The only option would be to check with the Acer support team by calling them.

    They just simply say that they are still waiting for the part to arrive. Is possible for me to ask for replacement as I need to use the laptop for my work purpose

    I am sorry to hear that you’re experiencing delayed times with the repair process, Acer community is not design for direct customer support consultation, case status, complaints, parts requests/orders or sponsorship/donations request, primarily the community is a place where members can exchange their own advice, ideas, articles with knowledge and troubleshooting techniques etc. please use the appropriate channel/sources for your particular request: 


    On the other hand the response time to give a diagnosis is approximately 5-10 business days, the repair time will depend on the availability of the part in case the equipment requires it (if a part needs to be ordered, it can take from 1-4 weeks for the parts to arrive), please keep in mind that all dates/time given is estimated (we do not have control of mailing times or if customs retain any merchandise).
