Hi,
Boot process has been worse in my E1-572. For some time ago it could boot when waiting one day or so, but now it doesn't boot any more even waiting several days.
When I press the power on button leds turns on as normal. Hard drive led is blinking. Acer BIOS boot logo doesn't appear and display remains black. (In this phase it booted to win10 after waiting one day or so).
Could BIOS be corrupted as some pages states? How can this happen?
Or is BIOS battery getting bad? How this could affect the boot?
Thanks for any hints.

I dont think this to be BIOS related issue. Have you tried to reset your device. If you have create recovery media then follow these steps. If you have not create one then try this. Connect the bootable media and during the boot time keep pressing F12. This would allow you to pick the OS and reboot the OS.

What do you mean by reset?
Boot process never come to a phase where I can see suggestion to press any buttons as is the normal case when BIOS succeeds to boot.
I have tried also to boot to linux from USB memory stick without success.

By reset, he means taking out the battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds and then plugging the charger in the laptop and trying to turn it on.
