I have reset to factory settings my Acer Swift 3 Sf315-52. I am selling it on so dont want to set it up. Its now at the first stage of the Setup " Let's start with the region"  How do I safely shut it down so that this screen will appear when the new user turns the laptop on.  I've believe a force shutdown may cause issues for the new user so dont want to do this. I've read using Shift & F10 will close any laptop down but all this does on my laptop is adjust the volume. Can anybody help please as I want to ensure the new user doesn't encounter any issues after sale. Thank you

Firstly thank you so much for your super fast response. If I force shutdown, will the set up screen for the new user be there for there when they switch on? Sorry, but not good with this kind if thing and a bit of a worrier. It's just the laptop is almost Brand new. I used it once or twice and then decided to sell. So it's going to cost the buyer quite a bit and dont want to let them down by them buying a faulty laptop if you understand. Thanks again

    Yes, it will be.
This is because the system itself is not loaded yet and no bases to be affected.

    Good afternoon Patttty !

In this case, only the forced shutdown will cancel the screen.
What you can do is wait for the battery to reach the recharge level, but it can generate errors in the system.

  • does the bios have a function that shuts down the notebook? if so, you try to reinstall again, but before the configuration setup appears, you can enter the bios and shut down.
