Nitro 5 battery connection issue

Sometimes if I move the laptop from the bag to the desk, I am unable to power it on as if the battery were empty. It turns on fine when I connect the charger. It has fully charged battery but the moment I disconnect, it abruptly turns off again. This happened many times and sometimes goes away on its own, sometimes I gently shake it a bit and then it works. I opened the back and checked the cable connecting the battery to the board and it was more than tight. There was not the slightest jiggle when I tried to pull it so I don’t understand what the problem is. By the way, it’s off the warranty and whenever I open it for cleaning, I remove the battery by pressing down on top and pulling the pin backwards. I don’t believe I have used unnecessary force for that.

My friend, the reason nobody is telling you anything is because it’s almost impossible to diagnose on a forum. The fact that it works when gently shaken is symptomatic of a bad connection somewhere and I suggest taking it to your local PC repair shop for a proper diagnosis

    One last thing, try this

Do you see the cut out switch in the square recess under the RAM label? Place a few small pieces of electrical tape on top of it to ensure that it is being fully depressed when the cover is replaced
