Recently i updated my Nitro 5's bios using the latest bios update for my laptop in Acer Drivers Website, when my laptop restarted it got stuck on a black screen, I can't access to the bios, the acer logo doesn't appear, I unplugged everything and removed the Hdd and the Rams then removed the bios battery for 30 minutes, i plugged it in back then turned on the laptop but it still black screen, i tried to plug the hdd and ram back and still not working.

Thanks for the responses!

I have read that installing a new BIOS battery sometimes solves the problem

What is your model number for example AN515-** and when you unzipped the BIOS update file which .exe did you attempt to install, a screenshot of the unzipped file would be helpful

    Good evening WIllAim !

What was the REAL need to update Bios?
Bios updates are extremely delicate and risky processes and should only be performed in serious cases of serious system errors or due to extreme need for correction or compatibility.
Other than that it is a process that should be avoided as much as possible, especially if your machine is working perfectly.

After updating, did you reset the Bios options to the default default and test?

@MaClane he couldn’t, he can only boot into the BSOD

Try long pressing the power button to power down, unplug and leave it for 15 mins then plug back in and power up

@MaClane I updated the bios to reset the bios password because i lost it, but I didn't know that i could simply remove the bios battery to reset it. I only knew that after installing the bios update.

@andylb I tried but it doesnt seems to be working... Do you think i have to buy a new bios battery ? Or is it something else.
Oh btw i forgot to mention that but when i power on the computer the screen goes light grey but doesn't show any acer logo or any loading circle and i can't access the bios.

Current systems do not lose BIOS passwords by removing batteries.
Have you tried resetting the battery?
