Press Win+R. Enter 'msinfo32'. Click 'components' folder. Click 'display' subfolder. What adapters do you see? Jack E/NJ

Sorry. Looks like a graphics chip or chip connection failure. Perhaps the best way to rule this hardware failure in or out is to back up your system and do an erase-everything factory reset using the ALT+F10 cold boot method as shown in the video below.  If a reset doesn't bring it back, then a risky mainboard  or chip solder reflow might be able to restore it function if it's due to a solder connection crack or cold joint. Sorry. You must decide if you want to risk a mainboard reflow or continue to use the machine with the integrated graphics. A reflow would require complete disassembly and removal of all devices and connectors from the mainboard. Then either the discrete graphics chip is heated with a heat gun to about 430*F to re-melt its solder connections or the whole board baked in a pre-heated toaster oven for about 10-15 mins. There's no guarantee for success. Replacement mainboards are about $150USD. Jack E/NJ

Every time you suggest that stuff you make me think of Louis and Linus and all, so I'm tempted to rectify this thing...

And this time I'm going to post the first video in the series (it's unlisted), but there are 2 more (a follow up by Louis) and then one when the 2 of them collaborate (Linus goes to NY) and show how to properly repair BGA things:

Thanks. That youtube video reminded me of something I failed to mention in my earlier post. If it was my E5-475G that has been like this for a few months, I'd continue to use it with the integrated graphics.  :) Jack E/NJ
