My Predator Helios 300 PH317-53 keeps disconnecting from my WiFi out of the blue. When this happens, all other devices using the WiFi also gets disconnecting. My laptop is running the Killer AX1650 internet card. Once the internet is disconnected, it still shows the the WiFi is up and running but I can't connect to it 'Unable to connect to network' I also found out that others with the Killer AX1650 wifi card also have this similar issue.
I have attempted to uninstall/ reinstall the drivers, reset the network adapters, update windows and such.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could provide some insight into this issue as it has been bothering me for awhile.

    Hi,
Could you please tell us the version of driver you are using, is it 2.0.2324.0 from Acer support site?

Hi @brummyfan2, my driver version is 21.60.2.1. Could you maybe provide me with a download link of the version of the driver you stated instead?

    Hi,
Go to Acer support(the link below), download the driver, then go to Device manager, expand Network adapters,  right click WiFi card and select Properties, go to Driver tab and uninstall the current driver, do not reboot, install the downloaded driver.

    Hi,
Go to the link and download the .zip file, right click the file and select Extract all, save the folder in Desktop or any convenient place, then open Device manager, expand Network adapters, right click AX1650 and select Update, select Browse my computer in the next window, then use Browse on the right side to direct where you have saved the extracted folder.

Tried that but apparently 'The best drivers for your device are already installed'. Looks like drivers aren't the issue... do you have any other solutions?

OK, go to Settings, click Network and Internet, click WiFi in the left pane, click Manage known networks, at the next window, click any other networks(neighbours') shown and select Forget leaving only your network untouched, let us know how it fares.

Sorry I only have one network which is my private home's network which I'm connected to.. it's also the one that occasionally disconnects and causes this entire problem....

Hi, I did this until "uncheck the box for "Allow the computer to turn off....". and still being disconnected. Has anyone figured how to fix this?

Hey man, I'm having the exact same issue. Did you find a solution in the end?

I didn't find a solution but I got a replacement laptop (same model) and the issue is still there. I think there's some kind of interference or incompatibility between the Killer wifi card and the router. I will get another router and see what happens.

This video might help. Solution 2 helped me with the random disconnection to my WiFi

I tried all of these suggestions as well. It wasn't until I purchased a different WiFi card for my laptop and installed it that the frequent disconnecting and reconnecting stopped.
