iconia 6120 - keyboard button no longer works, Ring is buggy, socialjogger now semi-useless....

My computer is out of warranty and I had a hard drive failure. So I send my Iconia 6120 in for repairs, spend the $200, get it back and find that it has returned a bit buggy...

1 - The keyboard button no longer functions as it did. If I want to call the keyboard now, I hit the button, the log out/lock/task manager splash screen pops up, I hit cancel, then get the keyboard. It used to be I had to long press to get that splash screen, short press to get the keyboard.

2 - The Acer Ring only occasional starts. It’s running in the processes but will not show itself...

3 - SocialJogger won't log into Facebook or Flickr, only YouTube.

The SocialJogger and Ring thing I can deal with, it’s the keyboard issue that is driving nuts. I'm a little ***** that I paid to have a new hard drive put in and have the OS reinstalled only to find that they didn't even check their work... I could have done it myself for half the cost, but thought it safer to send it to them so that if anything like this happened they would stand behind their work and fix it. Acer customer support has been so irritatingly non-existent that I’m tempted not to buy their products anymore...

Apologies for my frustration, anyone have any suggestions on a fix? I use this laptop when performing on stage and need to be able to quickly call the keyboard up between songs.

I apologized that your system came back not working properly. If you have recovery software, you may try loading it to see if it resolves your issues. If not, you may try contacting the service center, to inquire about setting the computer back up for repair.

they probably updated your BIOS to version 1.07 when you sent your iconia for repair. This "modifies KB switch button for Ctrl+Alt+Del and show virtual KB". Try holding in the keyboard button for a few seconds. that should now make your keyboard appear
