Acer Switch 5 - Why does my active stylus pen stopped working after a month?

I bought an Acer Switch 5 at the end of November 2019. I bought it second hand but the previous owner didn't use it so it was in excellent condition. Sometimes the pen stopped working in mid-usage but I switched the battery clicked on the buttons and it was back in work right away. This happened once or twice later but it wasn't annoying. In these situations, there was no visible cursor and no input. After about a month of use, the pen stopped working from one day to another. At this time, I am able to see the cursor but there is no input whatsoever. The touchscreen works, the battery is fully charged. I tried to update, uninstall then re-install drivers and so on but nothing seemed to work. If it is a software problem how do I solve it? Would changing the tip or the whole pen help? Did anyone had a similar problem before? if yes, how did you solve it?
I am desperate to get it solved as my semester starts soon and without the pen, I cannot use it as I was intending to.

Sounds like intermittent contact failure. If you're sure the battery is fully charged then use a pencil eraser to clean up its end contacts. Also peer inside the pen with a flashlight to make sure its battery connector springs are clean and not corroded. If they are dirty, try getting an eraser in there too to clean them up. Jack E/NJ

Well, it was the pen. Looks like I write harder then I should and it killed the pen. However, I am quite disappointed that there is no other compatible pen for this model or that the pens are not soo durable.

In the picture, you can see the black spot that was created with the firm usage.

Sorry, I don't see the spot you are referring to? Jack E/NJ

If I am not mistake, you can use Surface Pen and other MPP pen with Switch 5. I tried my Raphael 520 pen with it (at Acer store) and it work well.
