Why does Acer think it is an acceptable business practice to advertise IPS on a TN display?

Here is a picture of the US website for the Acer Predator XB2, a fairly overpriced but well-featured 1080p 240hz monitor. IT IS IN NO WAY IPS, so why have this huge panel here making it out to be so? Things like this annoy me so I'm just pointing it out and moving through. Will not be purchasing. This isn't a discussion about whether 240hz IPS is available to buy, it's about deplorable advertising practices, I will likely end up buying a 240hz TN from another company.
