My laptop LAGS/STUTTERS so much when charging (only when casual gaming)
How could I possibly fix this issue?
This seems like a hardware malfunction. I just had this last Nov 2019 and I am facing issues.
This should not be the case right ? I was thinking that plugging it in could make it perform better but it turns out to be doing the opposite.

When I game, unplugged, the game is smooth like butter.
I did battery reset here: https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34843/~/acer-internal-battery-reset
But, still the same it lags.
I set NVIDIA GPU (MX250) as default for specific games.
But, still the same it lags.
What will i do?
Kindly note that the games are in samsung 970 evo plus. SSD.
Also note that all drivers are up-to-date, via online, or microsoft updates.

Good evening rmj !
Is the device using the high performance plan of Windows?
Did you disable BateryBoost?
Is the battery fully charged before playing when plugged into a power outlet?
Do you use it in a properly grounded outlet that has no adapter at all and is unique to it?

1- Must use Windows high performance plan on power options
2- Must disable BaterryBoost on nvidia panel
3- Charge the battery at 100% before playing and stay plugged in.
