I have a Acer Predator triton 300 with 4 GB GTX 1650
I'm facing some problems while gaming from some days. First when I bought this laptop it was working well and there were no issues while playing games in recommended high settings, every game runs in 55-60fps...But now I see games are lagging a bit even if power supply is on. Now I see the games are running in 60fps but it drops down to 35-40 fps then again goes up to 60fps. This happens only if I unplug my charger but same is happening even if charger is plugged in......I lowered the graphics setting but still the same problem is happening. I thought the drivers aren't up to date then I updated each of the drivers then started playing but the issue remains the same..... Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Jerry007 first of all the 1650 its almost the same level as a 1050ti (probably +10fps in some games or sometimes less if the ti its properly tweaked/overclocked would be at the same level)) so you cant ask too much from it its the lowest budget of the new gpus also how are your temps are you throttling have you optimized windows and undervolted ?? and the T300 was created for casual gaming to play on medium/low settings so dont expect much on high settings its just a 1650 its not a 1660ti :) which in my view nvidia just rebranded the names and gave it just a bit of a kick (just to not look the same) from the old 1050ti 1060 models which they are still pretty good

I said even if I lower the settings the same problem occurs. I know my laptop is low budget but it was running almost every games on recommended high settings without any fps drops and lags, but now it just drops down to 30 to 40fps then again goes up to 60fps and it's repeatative.

Download HWiNFO or use Predator Sense and check the temperature of the CPU and GPU(please report the temperatures back here), as @xapim mentioned. Many users experience issues with fps drops, because of throttling.

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Temperature is not the issue. Do the fps drops occur in every game? If yes you can try removing the graphics driver with DDU in safe mode and then install it again.

Try uninstalling the graphics driver with DDU in safe mode and install the latest one from Nvidia. If the newest driver doesn't work, you can try with older version.

By the way, does the fps drop still occur if you rest on one place without moving?

Then, that means you have to reduce the graphics settings a bit. I am not very familiar with how image rendering works, but I assume that, as you are not moving the GPU renders the same frame over and over again, which is much easier than rendering a new frame every time as you are moving.

Is it a problem with the power supply or my charger?

Hello guys, i'm a user of Predator Triton 300 too. And i come here to ask for some help regarding on my desktop. I'm using my desktop 5 days before the day it was given to me. And first things first, I logged my accs on google and the next day comes I dl League of Legends which was 11gb. My desktop has huge amount of space for it so I decided to dl it. When it was finished, I try to play games and it starts to freeze for a moment and when turns back, I've reached too far from the time it freezed. Then there's this audio where it get's "EEEEE" sound for a short period of time. I thought it was just normal because it is just new. Days come and my desktop's performance is running too slow. I mean, opening sites on chrome, watching videos on Yt, pressing alt+tab takes too much time. And I got a help on my friend, he helped me upon using NVIDIA Control Panel and he told me to minimize the level of my 3D Graphics Display, I can't remember but the last thing I saw that it was low level (performance) and it apply changes, not permanently. It starts to boost for awhile but the lag remains. I turn of the lights of my keyboard, I add LoL to GameSync, I even lower the graphics on the game settings but still the lag occurs!! It really sucks, and btw I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE upon pc, I'm new user. I'm asking if there is any solution here, i mean, it's only 5 days and the performance of my desktop is poor :(( btw here are my specs...waitng for response
