Hi. I bought a laptop (AN515-52-77S4) 2 months before, and still getting same performance as a new laptop. The only problem is, I only get 75-144 fps on csgo. My specs are Gtx 1050 ti I7 8750h 144hz 8gb 2666mhz. I get 70-90c on cpu and 60-78c on gpu when playing heavy games.

Gtx 1050 ti seems to be the bottleneck here, along with 8 GB RAM.

is 16gb ram (2x8 2666mhz) gonna solve the problem?

I don't think 8GB RAM is the problem here, as CS GO isn't heavy on RAM. Just in case, can you show the RAM usage, while playing the game and I would suggest you to turn down the graphics if you haven't already. Please post a picture of the CPU and GPU temperatures, during a gaming session(at least 15 minutes after you start).

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Low fps, fps drop and stuttering when playing games online, are often caused by the games servers and not your laptop

I don't know how to show a picture here, but I used MSI Afterburner, Checked all of the options in monitoring, then it shows 2 values of RAM.  6455MB and 11569MB

Also, GPU is mostly at 60-70c ( I overclocked it 100 on core 400 on memory) 85-95 on CPU

When your GPU and CPU are not stressed yet you experience lag and stutter then that would indicate game server problems not a laptop problem. Go to your games support site for relevant answers.

Have you set up the Nvidia Control Center correctly? Please follow all my instructions below

Please click YES if I answer your question, thankyou

Make sure you do this below and always game on 100% battery BEFORE gaming and KEEP plugged in while gaming, in your Windows Power plan select High Performance when on AC and in Nitrosense make sure High performance is selected under "AC" tab

    1. Download and install the latest Nvidia drivers from here and do not install GEforce experience, instead check the link every month for updated drivers
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx. Geforce Experience causes problems for some people

    2. Go to the Nvidia control center and click Manage 3d settings tab, then click the Global Settings tab and change Preferred Graphics processor from Auto select to your Nvidia GPU, do this by clicking the downward arrow to the right of Auto Select and select the Nvidia GPU. Then under the Program Settings tab select the programs and games that you want to run on the Nvidia GPU. Do the same under the Set PhysX Configuration tab

Please click YES if I answered your question
