    I dont even know the v1.17 version got in my Laptop. I downloaded the bios from the acer page.this is from the Service guide.

    I put the dos files of acer...1.15 in to my bootable usb stick which i formate it with rufus into 32fat. I dont think i did a mistake because i watched 100 of youtube videos.

    Rename the fd file JE50.FD
    JE50.FD should be the ONLY file in the root directory an MBR-partitioned FAT32 USB pendrive with an LED activity light.  
    With machine turned off press and hold FN+ESC. Turn the machine on. When you see USB LED activity, you can release FN+ESC.
    If successful, the machine will shut off or reboot by itself.

    If no activity, we must try a few other names for the FD file.

    Before trying another filename, what was the original FD filename in the DOS subdirectory? Jack E/NJ

    OK. Rename that file JE50115.FD. That should be the only file in the USB root directory. Now try the FN+ESC method again. Jack E/NJ

    Try JE50x64.fd. Make sure the 0 is number zero, not letter O. Jack E/NJ
