Hi,
I had my windows re-installed after my laptop was returned from one of Acer's service centers where they have replaced the motherboard.

The laptop is Acer Preadator Triton 500 (Predator PT515-51) with i7-9750H and RTX 2060 .

After the windows installation all I get is "Sorry! This computer is not supported." .

I have tried with Predator Sense version 3.00.3130 and 3.00.3110 , both gave the same error.

Any ideas ?

Here is the plugs folder (I have checked a few other posts about it):

Did the ACER service center or someone else re-install Win10?  And was it a Microsoft generic Win10 version or an ACER-specific Win10 version? They are often not the same. Jack E/NJ

The laptop was not running on the Acer version of Windows from day one, because the first thing I did when I got it, was to format the whole drive and installed both Windows and Linux on it and after the clean install everything was running fine. Right now I have only Windows installed.

The only difference I see with the new motherboard is that its running BIOS version 1.12 and the old one was running version 1.06 , probably the guys at the service center updated the BIOS version with the latest one from https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/7905?b=1 .

Practically I now have 2 buttons on the keyboard that serve no purpose until I have a way to install Predator Sense ...

I already mention it , but here:
    Exact model number: NG-PT515-51-76EW
    BIOS version: V1.12

Its running on Windows 10 Home 64bit .

Yes, but the generic version now is not the same generic version you installed earlier. Changes every 6-8 mos. Did you also wipe the hidden ACER recovery partition? Jack E/NJ

Do you recall the generic Win10 version number? If not, do you recall the approximate date that you downloaded the iso and installed it? That is the version you should try. Jack E/NJ

x3m_d3m in your bios or acer care center you have to have the following model Predator PH515-51 if you dont have the exact full model name showing in the bios or acer care center you have to send it back to get it fixed only acer engineers can change it to the correct name nothing you can do about it yourself if this is the case also you and everyone else who thinks on formatting it should always create a stock recovery usb drive before doing so for security purposes this should be the first step out of the box

xapim, it looks like you could be correct about the system name.
The old name of the system was "Acer Predator PT515-51" and right now its "Acer NG-PT515-51-76EW.
For the "stock recovery usb drive" , I don't agree. Yes its faster to recover from an image file, but why should I care if I can re-install everything on the machine in less then an hour. I always have Windows and Linux installations on USB drives.
If you are talking about backups, then I would agree. Everything could happen to you the data on the PC at any point, so backups are a good thing.

I have renamed the folder "plugs/Predator PT315-51" from the installation to "plugs/NG-PT515-51-76EW" as this is the name that is show currently in the BIOS and Acer Care Center. That allowed me to install Predator Sense.

Well I glad it worked but you're lucky most times it has to go back for them to fix it 😉

If you're not too much bothered with it just leave it but if u are the only way its to send it back this issue normally only happens when there's a mobo replacement

    I have Solution!
Please first copy the unpacked PT515 folder directly to the C: \ drive.
Then open the command prompt as administrator.
To do this, please enter CMD in the Windows search function at the bottom of the taskbar.
You will then see the Desktop App Command Prompt.
Please press with the right mouse button on this entry. A context menu appears and select "Run as administrator".
In the newly opened window navigate with the listed commands to the C: \ PT515 folder and execute the PT515.bat file.
The commands must be confirmed by pressing the Enter key:
    cd ..
    cd ..
    cd PT515
    PT515.bat
