Because gaming needs more power which it gets when plugged to power source and not on battery. Playng on battery will degrade it quickly. I recommend playing while plugged always.

NVIDIA GPU restricts max output when on battery. Battery alone cannot cater to entire power needs when running at full speed.

Bipul12 its not an issue its completely normal gaming laptops were not designed to work on battery only the battery its just supposed to be used on light works/emergency only the battery main purpose its to aid the adapter with more power when this one cant provide enough to support the cpu/gpu high performance so my advice is never play on battery and make sure the battery its always 100% charged before you start any game and only use the battery mode if you dont have any socket near and really light works to not cause much wear to it because if this happens you end up with a faulty battery and having to replace it hope this explanation helps in any way

You could! Technically, if you do any work, including gaming, that is light weight in nature, you could do gaming, e.g., casual games. This "plugged in to game" applies only for heavy games and processor intensive tasks.
