Hello,
I have an Acer Spin 3 (SP314-51) with Windows 10 on it...because of my job it will be very useful to have also Debian on it so I:
-make with Rufus a USB with the iso file of Debian;
-make a partition for Debian;
-set in the UEFI a pass and then disabled secure boot and enabled F12;
-installed Debian.

For some reasons, when I turn on the computer it goes on with Windows and if I try to access to the UEFI I see only a black screen...I readed some topics on this forum but I cannot find a solution yet.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Giulia

    Good afternoon Giulia_B !

    But is the installation successful?

    To install, you must follow these steps:

    ISO must be x64bits
    USB flash drive to be created in GPT mode with Uefi support
    Bios must be set to Uefi, with SecureBoot disabled
    Windows must have fast startup options disabled

    You likely need to edit the UEFI files to add the Linux boot option. By default the laptop boots using the Windows Boot Manager and it only has entries for Windows by default.

    Is Grub loaded at startup?
    In the Bios-Uefi boot tab is it set to be the first to boot?
