Hi, Kindly check the information below regarding the upgrade of your unit.

There are several excellent graphics card options available that are supported by a 300W power supply. The best graphics card option to upgrade the Acer TC-780 is the GTX 1050 Ti. Its recommended system requirement is 300W, and it doesn’t require any external power connection, making it a plug-and-play option.
The best performing graphics cards that are supported by a 300W power supply with no external power connector are listed below. This list is in order of performance (and cost). If budget is a concern, opt for one of the lower options in the list:
    1) GTX 1050Ti (best performing)
    2) GTX 1050
    3) GT 1030
Cheaper cards are not recommended as they are typically older model cards that do not deliver as much performance for the price.

Also check the link below and check and for the upgrades for your unit. They are Crucial and they guarantee compatibility with your exact model. Kindly write down the part number and then order from Amazon, it's cheaper and has fast delivery.

My TC-780 is not quite outdated and is not obsolete. I upgraded my 6 year old Acer TC-780. I turned it into a budget gaming setup. I paid $700 for just the tower. upgraded the memory to 16gb. added a GTX 1650 GPU. It came with an i5-7400. Swapped it for a used (ebay) i7-7700. It runs Hot temp wise. installed a bigger CPU Air radiator/fan. and put everything in a Fractal Design focus G case with 6 RBG fans. $600 in upgrades + $700 for the TC-780. $1300 is a starting price for budget gaming computers. I can not upgrade to windows 11. The future is limited on this Windows 10 OS setup but for the next 2-3 years I can game. It was more affordable to swap 1 piece at a time ( $100 here $200 there) than to fork out $2000 or $ 3000 or even $1300 upfront.
