OK. Now shut the machine down. Then turn it back on again and immediately press the F2 key to enter the new BIOS menu. The Main tab should give you an option to change the KB backlight settings. Jack E/NJ

KB LED lights are automatically adjusted to save energy. There are BIOS updates available that may affect this for some models such as the PH315-51 https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7603?b=1 Check for your specific model https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers. Did you press F10 to save the BIOS settings? Go back into the BIOS menu and repeat the operation. Also, when you're back into Windows, open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons' in the left pane. Click 'change setting that are currently unavailable'. Scroll down and uncheck the box for fast startup to disable fast boot. Shut the machine down again. Then turn it back on. Jack E/NJ

Congrats. Yes, the battery would drain too fast if the KB backlight stayed on too long. Jack E/NJ

PGyousef thats completely normal the backlit switches off on all Predators new or old when unplugged :) theres no way to avoid that but you can switch it back on manually (i wouldnt advise it though it will drain your battery fast) if fact my advice its to use it on AC always never on battery it wasnt meant to be used on battery the battery its just a backup not its main purpose the battery purpose its to help the AC adapter when this on cant provide enough power for the cpu/gpu

Ladies and gentlemen he's done it if you press the predator sense key and then click the settings logo at the top it says turn off backlight after 30 seconds and just flip the switch and it never turns off (unless you turn it off or something like that) but if you don't have predator sense use acers own settings
