Hello to everyone,
I bought an ACER Aspire A715-72G-78HK, SNID 90900017934, from two days only, but the touch pad doesn't work under his Win 10 OS in any way.
In the "Gestione Dispositivi" (Italian version) = Device Manager, the HID I2C icon reports an exclamation mark, and I think the problem is this driver.
No touch pad icons appers here or in Device Manager, nor in the "Impostazioni" = Settings.
I tried, without any effect, to:
- check the F7 button (it's not so simple), that switch on/off the touch pad;
- reinstall the I2C drivers;
- delete the drivers and restart;
- update the driver via Win 10 update;
-update Win 10;
- try to set the BIOS/Touch pad from Advanced to Basic and viceversa, without effect.

I think it's really incredible to buy a new ACER laptop and receive it with the touch pad that doesn't work, and I can't/won't use an external mouse, I bought a laptop, not a desktop!
I have to work with it, and, as it is, I can't use it.

Someone could help me with this issue?
Thank you very much for a suggestion, Tom
