Acer Iconia B1 touchscreen not working properly

I purchased this machine less than a month ago from a UK based online supplier.

 

The unit is now useless as the touchscreen does not work properly and I am being refered to Acer for support.

 

Whats most upsetting is that Acer operates an expensive premium rate telephone line that one must use to even get support!

 

Perhaps I'll just go to the local technical press to report my fault.

 

I see that several people are reporting similar faults with their tablets!

    Sorry to hear about your B1. I agree with you about Acer Customer Services. Such a big company should be freefone and have the best support in the world. I was very disappointed recently when i asked a simple question. Their response was poor and well below my expectations.In contrast I rang Samsung yesterday.They were polite,so helpful and really impressive. I know which product I will buy next time.
