I have seen many folks have asked this question but not one answer has worked. I have this new Acer Nitro 5 laptop which sleeps off in 3 mins of Idle time. The setting I have is 25 mina both for battery and power. I have tried everything under the sun but nothing has worked. Even edited the registry and set the flag and everything else but to no avail.

I have seen quite a few laptops in my lifetime but this is ridiculous. How can it be so frigging complex?

I need some help to get around this extremely annoying issue.

Go to Setting/Power then at the right hand of the page "Additional Power Settings" everything will be there

I have alluded to it in my notes. I have the two settings at 25 mins but that does not work on ACER.

Create a power plan in the advanced settings

I have created a custom plan with 25 mins each for the two options but it still does not do it.
