SF314-56 RAM and M.2 Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my RAM in the SF314-56 Swift 3 Ultra-Thin
How much RAM will I be able to put into my system? How many slots are there? What's the highest clock speed I can use? Whats the recommended amount of RAM to upgrade to?
As of now 512GB of SSD storage is enough, however in the future I may change my mind. Am I able to uprgade the m.2 or is it soldered?
Will I have to buy PCI-e or SATA? Will an NVMe m.2 be fine and is there any limitations to what I can upgrade to? And does anyone have any recommendations?
If anyone can help answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advanced!

Hi,
There are conflicting information available, some say it can be upgraded up to 20GB( 4GB on-board memory+16GB module), Crucial and other say, it has only on-board memory available and can not upgrade, I would suggest you to open up and check whether you have empty slot available for upgrade, if you have one, you can install a 8GB or a 16GB 2133MHz module in the slot.
As for the M.2 SSD, you can upgrade up to 1TB as Crucial advertise 1TB NVMe drives for this model.

Hi thanks for your reply, is 2133MHz the highest as I've seen some say you can put 2400MHz?
Also is there a any storage in the m.2 slot or is the storage already in my laptop a 2.5 inch Drive?
Also can I use any NVMe M.2 or is the cruical one the recommended one to use? Thank you once again

Hi,
The manual recommends a 2133MHz module, so if you install a 2400MHz module, it may down clock to 2133MHz, to find out the type of storage in your laptop, go to Device manager, expand Disk Drives and post the snip.
Yes, you can use any NVMe SSDs, Crucial link is only shown as an example, you could get Samsung 960Evo, 970Evo etc.

Do you think this would work? and it would just downclock to 2133MHz? or do you recommend going for a 2133MHz stick?0
