Acer aspire 5 laptop of model A515-51g has its power led blinking in orange and the laptop powers off when supply is cut. I have referred to other forums and tried things saying take out battery for ten secs or hold power button for 15 secs then plug in battery. But my laptop has an inbuilt battery so I had to tear down my laptop to try it only to fail. Is this related to BIOS? And sometimes when i move the laptop like lift it in some awkward angle, it powers off. How to solve this?

Okay, recently I read a post regarding the SWG1 switch below the ram slot. It is set so that once you open the hood of the laptop there is no power coming from the battery to the motherboard. The issue is that the switch was not completely closed and caused in the abrupt halting of power supply to the motherboard and turning of the laptop. For now, I had to tape it to be closed so that  my laptop could run again. I hope there would not be any more problems in the future.
