Acer Care Center - What does it do?

I've owned this Predator Triton 500 for a few months, astounded by RTX gaming in a slim form factor.

That said, Acer Care Center has seemed to only do one thing for this install: distribute ads for software against my best interests.  Since my original purchase I had to manually update items listed on the Acer Support site; the app never seemed to have notice their existence.  If this app is not necessary, should I remove it? Can I? And what is the right way to?

MEMEyou basically acer care center doesnt do anything at all but warn you about your system health it will defrag you drives show you your model and you snid/serial and will only update anything if it get updated on acer support website mine never updated anything ever i just use it to check my snid nothing else :) i would just leave it as its a small app and doesnt use almost any memory but it up to you if you decide to remove it or not and it will also let you create a factory recovery disk without it you cant create it

I kept mine as it doesn't use much space or resource. also it got some useful info for in case I ever need it.
Tips 1: For gaming laptop make sure before you shut down especially after a heavy gaming session to let it cool down for at least 10min before you switch it off!

The ads show in the notification panel and are clearly identified as coming from the Acer Care Center application.
