Predator and Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.
    So dont worry its normal.

I bought a cheap cooling pad then I removed the component doors for memory and the second drive so that some air blows directly into the laptop, it will still hit 90c on some really taxing games like Battlefield 5 but most other games I'll see around 65c to 80c.

thelegend278 Order_66 you shouldnt have any thermal issues with the new H300 2019 1660ti they come pre undervolted on stock that is really weird they shouldnt get high temps at all neither touching the throttling limits if they are getting high temps send them back for a proper repaste because that would probably be the issue

It only spikes up to 90 and drops back down to 80-85 when playing really demanding games like Gta modded
