Hi,
I've decided to buy a gaming laptop from predator. But, there's one thing i can't figure out to make my final decision regarding which laptop should i get. Which is that I want to know the difference between the helios 300 and triton 500 (both with RTX 2060) in terms of thermals/performance. I know they have different gen processors. However, that doesn't make a big difference at least in gaming. Hence, I'm guessing that the biggest difference would be in thermals since the helios 300 is not as thin as the triton 500.

Any help would be really appreciated!!!

Twizz the main difference would be the compact size of the T500 they should perform well both of them but because the T500 its much more compact i guess probably the cooling system had to be a bit sacrificed and wouldnt be as much efficient as in the H300 (but might also be the same never know until u try it) apart from that i dont see any other major differences between both

Triton has bigger battery and is more compact and major thing is it can be quiet in idle due to you can stop all fans to 0 rpm
Helios runs fans at 2000-2500 rpm in idle and this is very loud
Display and internals are similar, cooling at max is loud in both
So it is the question whether it worths 1.5 times more cost  =)

    Tinkerer

triton has 84w battery vs 51wh
    invert motherboard vs regular motherboard
    thunderbolt 3 vs not included
    thinner than helios
mostly aluminum surface vs less aluminum

Thank you so much guys!!! All the comments are really helpful. I'm going to pick the helios 300 since portability and battery life are not very important to me. What really matters to me is performance and cooling system. Not a big gap in performance between them. But, it would be nice to have the 9th gen I7 in the little work of editing that i do sometimes. Also, having the chance to upgrade the ram and maybe changing the thermal paste in the future is really amazing.
