The V227Q doesnt have any 3.5mm jack because its using DP port / HDMI. There is 2 2W built in speaker:Balatekie said:Hi!!

First check at rear of your monitor & confirm the presence of 3.5mm audio jack saying AUDIO IN. If it is found, then it is confirmed that monitor has in-built speakers. Later connect Aux cable to that Audio-In port and to the 3.5mm Audio-Out port in desktop or laptop. You should be really getting audio through monitor speakers.
NOTE: Ensure that monitor volume is not muted.

I'm connected to the monitor by HDMI. The monitor has no jack inputs.billsey said:The bip is what's most important here and Acer's spec page says that model has speakers. How are you connected to the monitor? Do you have the wire running between the Audio-In port and the green jack on your computer?
