Hi, I have a 2017 Acer Spin 3. And recently I have been meeting with clients and I bring a notebook to draw what I need to explain to them.

Then I just thought, maybe there is a pen for the Acer Spin 3. I have been looking and it seems to be that there are compatibilities to consider.

So my question, what kind of stylus will work on the Acer spin 3?

I dont need to draw art. I just need to write words and diagrams

I have been looking at this
https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/baseus-touchscreen-double-end-pen-stylus-universal-drawingwritinggaming-double-using-capacitive-touch-pen-for-apple-iphone-ipad-pro-for-smartphone-tablet-samsung-i302502806-s544766101.html

And here is a good list as well
https://www.lazada.com.ph/catalog/?q=stylus+for+2-1+laptop&_keyori=ss&from=input&spm=a2o4l.searchlist.search.go.26172762lqsAdH

Hope you can help!

Thanks

If your model is listed at this link https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/42675 it will probably support a battery-powered or active stylus. If not, then an unpowered or passive stylus must be used. Jack E/NJ

I'm puzzled. The Spin 3 website https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/series/spin3  shows the Spin 3 working with an active stylus pen (MPP compatible), HOWEVER the link https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/42675  does not appear to have ANY Spin 3 laptops.
I specifically bought the Spin 3 because it looked like it worked with an active stylus. :/

The list is 3 months old so it might be out of date. And It only applies to ACER-branded active pens, not MPP. The ad also has some foot-notes and fine print that suggest what might look like one thing may sometimes be another thing. Jack E/NJ

The (optional) Acer Rechargeable Active Stylus is perfect for drawing....1
    1. Specifications may vary depending on model and/or region.

Thanks for the link by the way. The only way to know is to buy it or someone here can confirm any stylus pen that works.
