I was playing a game and my laptop Aspire 3 A315-51 suddenly crashed, turned it off then back on, got the no bootable device menu, I brought up the BIOS and it couldn't detect my HDD name or serial number, I then managed to get it to boot but I couldn't do anything once I got it on, it was taking 15 minutes or so to register a click and task manager wasn't working to see what was running the laptop at full capacity, I turned it on and off 3 times to enter safe mode and I ran the system recovery and waited till it was finished but was taking some time and the person helping me hard turned it off while it was waiting to restart, so when I turned it on it had failed, I tried again but kept failing, I gave up for the night and when i went back to it this morning i cant get it to boot at all, just keeps coming up No Bootable Device I have D2D enabled, f12 enabled, I have tried both mode of UEFI and legacy, no such luck, Alt F10 isn't doing anything, F8 also, I now have exhausted all my knowledge and would greatly appreciate some help, also will note I have opened it up and unclipped the HDD to see if this had any dust or such in it and still wouldn't register

you can try to connect the HDD to another PC or laptop and check if it has any error or buy a new HDD.
I'm not an Acer employee.0 -
Piter said:"No bootable device" error can sometimes be caused by a change to settings in your BIOS or UEFI.
Use the following steps to resolve this situation:- Hold the power-button for 5 seconds to power off the device.
- Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL key if you have a desktop, to enter the BIOS.
- Press F9 and then ENTER to load the default configuration. Press F10 to save your changes, and restart the system. Select Yes and press ENTER to confirm.
Your system should boot up normally. If you are still experiencing a problem, check out these methods.

And tonight, while watching a movie, laptop crashes and "no bootable device" appears on the screen. So what the hell is this? I expect no such stupid problems from a laptop this expensive and in such a short time.
As for your problem if it's only a month old call Acer and get it fixed under warranty that's what I did.0 -

Oh my God!!
Thank you, thank you! Nothing else was working and I don't have the money to repair, let alone replace my laptop.
I couldn't see any bootable devices when I hit F2 but after resetting the battery windows os appeared in the boot menu!
I cannot thank you enough!
