Would a USB Type C "power delivery" hub fry my Aspire a515-54-51dj?

I know that I can't **charge** my Aspire a515-54-51dj via the USB Type C port, but would a powered USB Type C "PD" hub **fry** my Aspire a515-54-51dj if I plugged one in so I could use multiple monitors and other peripherals? Or do I have to use only USB 3.0 Type A port to connect to a hub?

Thanks!

    Good Morning waw3runner !

The USB Type-C 3.1 version of this model is Gen.1
Only Gen.2 with Thunderbolt support can transfer
    information for monitors.

The question was more about the danger (if any) to my computer from a "power delivery" hub, not so much about the particular applications.
