I'm trying to get support!

Hi,

I keep trying to fill out the support form in Norwegian, but it keeps asking me for serial number and SNID which I filled in numerous times.  When I get to the purchase date and click the calendar, it keeps asking me to give a valid date (which I did over and over again).

So I'm stuck in problems without even getting to my actual issue which is the following:

I keep getting 2 error messages in Photoshop CS6:

1.  When opening Photoshop I get this message:

Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported.  If you experience problems, please uncheck the Use Graphics Processor checkbox in the Performance panel of the Preferences dialog.

2. When I try to use the Oil paint filter I get this message:

The filter you were using encountered an unknown graphics processor error that caused an unexpected exit.  Check the manufacturer’s website for the latest software.

The filter only worked for a short time.  Everything seems to be updated.

I know that several others have the same problem, and I hope you can help with a solution.

Thank you!

Regards,

You do not provide the URL of the site you are having issues with.  That would help greatly to know where you are attempting to enter information that is not being accepted.

We are unable to support Photoshop.  You would need to contact Adobe for support on that product.

The URL for the Norwegian support page I'm struggling with is

     http://customercare.acer-euro.com/customercare/ProblemFacing.aspx

As to my real problem, I have been in touch with Adobe, but they tell me to update my graphics card drivers which I've done.

    I'm stuck here.

Please understand that this is a repost of the same question you posted at the begining of February.  You did not provide complete information about your product then, and did not return to give me any additional information.

Culling all of your posts I find the following information.

You have an Acer Aspire 7750G.  You have Photoshop CS6.  You are having issues with Photoshop and a specific filter in Photoshop.

You state that when you run Photoshop CS6 you recieve the following dialog box:

Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported.  If you experience problems, please uncheck the Use Graphics Processor checkbox in the Performance panel of the Preferences dialog.

    Have you done this?

Yes, I have done everything I've been asked to do.  The funny thing is that the filter worked perfectly for a while, but the problem reappeared.  I'm not sure, but this might have happened after an update.

Is there any more information I can give you?

If you can think back to when the error appeared again, very likely after an update, you could roll back the system prior to the update to determine which update specifically affects the filter.
