Hello, I dont really know this happens starting when and i do really hope that it is normal, regardless of charging or without charging my laptop predator Triton 500, it have a buzz sound exactly similar to a coil whine sound, and is come out from the motherboard it mostly happen when I move my cursor and it is extremely annoying when I am not gaming. Since coil whine only appears when the laptop is plugged in, mine does it even when the laptop isn't  plugged and I have no idea whether is it a coil whine or not I do really hope that it is a coil whine since it is normal for all laptops.

marcushdjdjs not normal at all in a brand new out of the box laptop my advice its to return it asap for a repair/replacement because all hardware is mass produced theres always the risk of some become faulty in the process theres no way to avoid it in any kind of device doesnt matter how much tests they do there will be always faults

I don’t think it is a problem i think it is normal because Acer even gave me a new replacement model and it still happens the same

It seems like some kind of coil whine. I have read stuff online that says this will eventually reduce once the graphics card breaks in. Fingers crossed!
Also, is the mouse pad a bit shaky towards the lower end by any chance? marcushdjdjs said:

Has your graphic card "broken in" yet? I've had mine since november(ish) and I can still hear the coil whine from time to time.

My mousepad is also a bit shaky, but only when I have the laptop on my knees.

Recently had it sent for repair since one of the GPU fans stopped working, they replaced the fan+some thermal thingy. Told them to look at the coil whine and the mousepad as well but they seemed to have forgotten/not cared. Might send it in again for the coil whine. It's quite annoying to listen to.
