Predator Helios 300 - Can i request Acer to repaste my cpu and gpu with a specific thermal paste?

Hi I've just bought a Helios 300 (Gtx1060 6gb, I5-8300H) about a week ago and I've noticed temperatures of CPU hovering about 90-95°C and GPU at about 85°C.

I've tried undervolting but it didn't help as much so I've read that the next best thing to do is repasting the CPU and GPU. I really don't wanna take the risk of voiding my warranty if I did it myself so I was wondering that if i sent it back to Acer to do it for me, can i request or provide a specific brand of thermal paste or would they just use the same existing bad stock thermal paste again?

While I have heard of home call technicians doing a repaste with thermal paste you provide, I dont believe it's a common practice.
What country are you in ?

    Hmm not sure about Malaysia.
I would contact your local Acer representatives and see if they do home assistance. If they do you can ask the technician to apply your paste of choice.

Like I said before I have heard of a technician using the customers provided paste, but I've also heard that when some technicians "repaste" they simply replace the entire heat pipe apparatus which has a pre-determined amount of paste on it.

Yeah I did. I bought the Arctic MX-4. Visited the service centre which in my case since i live in Malaysia was 'Highpoint Service Centre'. They said they would without much hesitation. Got it done within a few minutes, Warranty wasn't voided. Don't know about other regions though.

They don not allow this in all countries only a few selected will allow you to provide your own thermal paste and this is if the guy who's going to do it is willing to do it your way :p

WaffleDemon thought it might be dead but its alive :xd

May I know which Highpoint service center did you go to?
If so, their location address and the phone number please?
    Thanks
